Herman Cain’s campaign to survive the flood of allegations of inappropriate behavior with women comes down to selling the art of the possible. Cain, married for 43 years, needs voters to think it’s possible his friend, Ginger White, was lying on camera Monday in claiming they carried on a 13-year consensual affair that ended when he jumped into the presidential race. OBAMA 2012 SHATTERS FUNDRAISING GOAL:Campaign manager Jim Messina revealed the boffo figures to supporters via YouTube, blasted in a 4:40 a.m. email with the subject line, “Exclusive: First look at our report.” The goal was a combined $60 million for the reelection campaign and the DNC. The total topped $86 million - more than $47 million for Obama 2012 and more than $38 million for the DNC: 680,000 donations, 552,462 donors, 98 percent for $250 or less, average gift: $69.
